I qualified as a teacher in 1998, and since then have worked in a wide variety of educational settings, from mainstream primary and secondary, to special education, a local authority secure unit, pupil referral units, and an English language school in Taiwan.

 

In recent years I’ve developed as an e-learning teacher, previously working at Runcorn City Learning Centre before it closed down. I’m now working as a self-employed e-learning professional providing the following services to schools.

• In-class projects supporting the use of technology and IT in the curriculum
• Staff training in the creative use of technology
• Consultancy services
• VLE management

I am an Apple Distinguished Educator and specialise in the creative opportunities that Apple technology can unlock. I also specialise in handheld learning, using devices such as iPods, PDAs, iPads, and smart phones.
