Great site- has everything you need to keep those tired fret-worn fingers on the pulse of one of the world’s most musical cities.
Keep up the good work!

Hi, just a quick note to say that this site really works. We got a gig by putting our acoustic duo in the artist listings. Fantastic free advertising. keep up the great work.

Just found the website. Having only played Liverpool twice, and struggling to get stage time I will find this site very useful, just what I was looking for. Hopefully after playing a few more open mic nights in and around the city i will find the venues that best fit my music… Hoping to find down to earth warm venues. This site will definatly help with open mic diary, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I must say that the Liverpool Acoustic site is a fantastic resource for musicians, audiences and organisers alike. When I first became interested in acoustic and folk music years and years (!) ago almost everything was by word-of-mouth and you would miss so much. The Liverpool Acoustic website is a fantastic way to keep in touch with great music in Liverpool and the North West. Keep up the great work!!

Just wanted to let you know how much we (and our friends Chris and Tina) enjoyed our night out at the View Two Liverpool Acoustic gig. As ever, a cracking group of talented artists in a lovely, friendly atmosphere. I can only imagine the hard work that goes into these special occasions and you guys deserve a big pat on the back for providing all your guests with a top night out!

The idea for the NEWS BLAST came at the beginning of January 2011. I was coming across lots of small items of news that didn’t warrant their own news item, but which were still of interest to followers of the site. I’d started tweeting some of these stories towards the end of 2010 but realised that many people were missing them.
Each NEWS BLAST contains a mix of the following items
NEWS BLAST #17 – May 2012
NEWS BLAST #9 – July 2011
NEWS BLAST #1 – January 2011
A list of all the NEWS BLASTs can be found here

I’ve written and published a monthly newsletter on the Liverpool Acoustic website on the first day of every month since June 2008.
I’ve developed the Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter over time and it now includes
Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter – May 2012
Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter – February 2011
Liverpool Acoustic Newsletter – August 2010
